For the past two summers, Charlie has had a dream to "eat from God's garden." To translate: It has been a dream of his to forage off the land and learn what is edible. He had a suspicion that these plants would bring us back to our healthy intended selves--and if the zombie apocalypse ever did happen, we would be prepared to survive off the land (giggle). Yes, my partner is a wild mountain man AND, I love him for it.
My role in all of this will be to try and incorporate these findings into consumable meals. Follow our summer journey under the "The foraging mode" section of this blog.
